Will a rat bond better with my daughter if we wait to get another one?
My daughter just got a rat 3 days ago. We don't know whether to get a second one now or wait till they bond. Some say that if you wait to get a second rat this one will bond with her better but others say you should never have just one rat. What are your suggestions? Do you have rats that bonded well even though you have multiple rats? Thank you for your responses.

How do I bond a 1 1/2 year old Painted turtle and a baby Mississippi Map turtle?
My painted turtle is about a year and a half old. I just bought a mississippi map turtle for him to have a friend. I put them together in a small plastic tank for a couple hours to see what would happen. nothing. so I put them both in the tank I had origionally for the painted turtle and woke up to find the big turtle nipping at the baby turtle. How can I bond them?
Any ideas on how to mangage college and barrel racing?
Right now I am seventeen and only have a year left until college. At the same time though I've involved with livestock and "emerged in the rodeo scene" for a while, I have little experience with horseback riding and eventually want get into barrel racing. I should have started much earlier but it is now that I actually have the chance because of several reasons that prevented me before.
Is it to late to start now? Has anyone had to juggle college and horses and how did you manage it?

We have a baby red tail boa. We havnt feed him yet because we think he is about to shed. His scales are dryer than when we got him and he yawns. My understanding is this is a sign of the start of sheding.
Also how long does it take to shed?
