I am thinking about getting a bird, and what kind of food helps them live longest and healthiest? I am not sure whether I am going to get a large bird such as a parrot or a smaller one like the parakeet.
Will mixing fruit and veggies also help?
I've heard from multiple people, including veterinarians, that if a cat has the calico pattern (grey/black, brown and white) anywhere on it's body then it's a female. Is that a true statement? Or is it just an assumption made by someone?
If it IS true, why is it that calico's are only females?
Thanks!

I have recently purchased a savannah monitor, they gave much information on what to feed him and how to feed him but not the frequency or the quantity. He is a juvenile lizard around eleven inches long just for the added information since I know it varies based on age and size

Basically about 3 weeks ago I got a young rat (few months old). Well I felt bad cuz I am only able to hold her for a few hours a day. So I'm planning on getting another rat tomorrow.
What's the best way to introduce them?
Any suggestions in general on the whole situation?
I really want a chameleon but my house is not calm. I asked if everyone if they could be a little more calmer around the house but they said no. What would be the best type of chameleon to get and how do I make it feel comfortable?
I've had reptiles for a while, but I feel that it's time I take it to the next level. I want a monitor or a tegu. The reptiles I've had before include a Golden Gecko, Australian Bearded Dragon, and a California King Snake.
I am looking for a reptile that is easy to tame, is not 100% docile, but then again is not too active to where it becomes aggressive. Thank you for your answers.
I need to know a good daily routine and diet for breeding budgies and cockatiels.
I am looking to buy an untrained barrel racing prospect but I am not sure what to look for in one. I'm not looking to buy one anytime soon, I want to practice on some trained horses first of course. But looking ahead into the future if anyone has any suggestions on what to look for as in conformation, behavior, personality, etc. that would be very helpful. Thank you!
