I am thinking about getting a bird, and what kind of food helps them live longest and healthiest? I am not sure whether I am going to get a large bird such as a parrot or a smaller one like the parakeet.
Will mixing fruit and veggies also help?
I need to know a good daily routine and diet for breeding budgies and cockatiels.
I have 2 new parakeets! I don't know much about them, but my sister says that the cage should be bigger. We know that we should get a bigger size cage, but there are so many sizes that we don't know which one that we can choose! Help!
I bought three parakeets so they won't get lonely but when i try to give them an apple they just fly crazily. I have a blue parakeet, a white one, and a green one.
I plan to start an aviary and aim for free breeding. I plan to start with about 5 pairs of African lovebirds and would like to expand from them. I am now researching for the best size dimension for the cage I'm planning to house them in. How big a cage, in your opinion, would I need to comfortably house all 5 pairs and all possible future offspring?
I have had a lovebird for about a year now, her food consists of "Exact" pellets for lovies, some mixed seeds, and nutri-berries. I usually fill her food bowl up when the food is almost done, and i'd fill it to the top. I'm starting to wonder, is there an amount of food a bird should have a day. How much food should go in her food bowl everday? I still want her to have those three types of foods, so can anyone help?
Hello I have two Budgies/Parakeets and im thinking about breeding them. When is the Breeding season? How do you know when they are mating? How do you know when she is getting ready to lay eggs? Please give me the basic facts about breeding! Thanks!
I need to move them to another cage but I can't seem to catch them in cage without hurting them. Is there any technique I should use to catch them so they don't get panic and I can move them in to another cage?
I have two cockatiels and I want to get a bigger cage for them. They don't like each other much but the tolerate each other enough to share a cage. I wanted to get them a cage where they each can have their own space and room for a nesting box.
I'm not rich I can't afford anything more than $200.
My room isn't all that big I want a big cage but not gigantic.
Searching for companies in Canada that stock bird toy parts at wholesale prices.
Would like to make my own bird toys, but can't find reasonable parts.
Thanks
